CHECKERED CORNER IS . . .

Time to grow brought a new storefront for Checkered Corner in Hermantown Minnesota in what used to be a florist shop and greenhouse.  This venue turned out to be such a FUN and creative spot to create and display!

 

on nice summer days we could roll open the roof ~ not so nice when rain leaked in

separated my workroom in the greenhouse with this great door wall

I was also able to hold some classes in this space which was a fun addition

wrapping clothesline with fabric can turn into

a great basket!

moved furniture out of the way as attendees brought in their
 sewing machines into the greenhouse WHAT FUN

2012 brought an exciting move to 

COLORADO

and these great venues along the way...

 






a small town Main Street
beckoned me in Elizabeth Colorado...

AND!

another spin back on Main Street

in Littleton brought me to a great boutique shop

The snow is swirling outside and I'm longing for something GREEN! I'd rather be sipping on a porch like in this great print 
but for now I'm grabbing a stack of magazines with my cup and dreaming of flowers in bloom 
 

YES! I'm a hoarder of many things including rusty door hardware and DEFINITELY favorite magazines.  Some things for me are just timeless.

Found these old pics of my garden in Minnesota the other day and hung them in my studio.  On the wild rustic side and I LOVE IT!
