In CELEBRATION! we will have a perpetual Scrabble game going at the shop all next weekend. Shop and play a word… what could possibly be better for those of us Scrabble fans??!! |
Celebrated on April 13 of each year, it is National Scrabble Day. In 1931 an amateur artist, unemployed architecture and lover of games, Alfred Mosher Butts created the game “Lexiko” which had a name change to “Criss-Cross Words” and later came to be known as Scrabble.
