COLORADO BOUND

DAY THREE was equally fun. Bittersweet as we had to head home to reality, but great picking spots and wonderful people along the way.

ROAD TRIP CONTINUES...

Seriously!?! First day we barely made it out of Minnesota and DAY TWO we barely made it out of Iowa.

dividers with old doors and theater seats. We sipped and pondered the possibility of renting a UHaul trailer.

Amazing people along the way like the staff at GREAT STUFF downtown Ames.

THANK YOU, Andrea for your recommendations and maps! We decided to stay heading the right direction and overstuffed the truck in Boone, Iowa at Stoll Consignment and the Furniture Zone. FUN!

Just too much to see and do in one picking trip.

SIGN ALONG THE WAY SAYS IT ALL!

Heading home from our adventure tomorrow.... perhaps a few itty bitty spots left in the truck for more treasures. We could leave our suitcases behind! That's a thought.

ROAD TRIP!

Patrice flew into Minneapolis to drive back to CO with me this week....what fun.
DAY ONE and we are already contemplating renting a trailer!!! I took her to one of my favorite antique stores northwest of Minneapolis (the wrong direction to get home!) called The Buffalo Nickel.

A few other stops STILL IN BUFFALO and the back of the truck is near full.

Chocolate peanut butter cookies for DINNER. Perfect!

So....we are still in Minnesota, backend of truck is tarped, it's dark, raining and we still don't know which direction would be best to go and where to stay. We decided SOUTH would be good. HA! We ended up in Ames, Iowa around midnight.

Can't wait to see what DAY TWO holds for us. Stay tuned to the travels.... anita
