Such a wonderful trip to St. Simons Island!

Quite magical for my mom after being on the island
in 1946 when my Dad was stationed there.

HIGHLIGHT of the stay was finding the housing
development that they rented a house in . . .
check out these completely priceless
THEN and NOW pics

Had such a great historical tour of the island on one of our first days there.  THANK YOU Captain Rod for such an enjoyable glimpse of the past
Our choice of accommodations at the
King and Prince Beach Resort
couldn't have been better being it's
a historic property on the island

THEN. . .
and NOW as we enjoyed it
and of course … wining ~ dining ~ shopping are a MUST on any trip . . .

MUST purchase a Eugenia Price book as she wrote many titles while living on the island.

St. Simons Island is such a cute east coast beach town . . . add it to your travel list!!
